The Old Anchor Mill, Paisley. Scotland
The six-storey, red-brick Anchor mill sits alongside the tumbling waters of the River Cart and is an everlasting monument to Paisley’s rich history in the textile industry. Built in 1886 by the Clark and Co Ltd who eventually amalgamated with J & P Coats Ltd to become the largest thread manufacturer in the world. In 2005 the Grade A-Listed building was developed into 60 Luxury apartments with some office accommodation included.
