Swallowed

The Great Sand Dunes, Death Valley, California.

Even though there are quite a few people wandering around out here, it is easy to imagine yourself getting lost and dying of thirst.

I actually found this place to be a pretty challenging place to photograph. You have to walk for at least half a mile to where there aren't too many foot-prints. Then you've got to look for the right set of geometric shapes to include in your composition. (I never found exactly what I was looking for.) The next time I go back to DV, I'll try and spend more time finding the right scene.
