Coastliner E20 BTS

Coastliner Buses Ltd E20 BTS, a Dennis Trident 2 built 2001 with an East Lancashire Lolyne H45/26F body on Knowsley Street in Bury by the Duke Street junction with a Bury Interchange (Stand S) to Manchester Piccadilly railway station Metrolink replacement bus service. Sunday 30th January 2022

 

Note, E20 BTS was originally operated by the Isle of Man Government’s Department of Tourism, Leisure and Transport as number 72 with the registration FMN-158-E. The Isle of Man Government’s Department of Tourism, Leisure and Transport’s transport operations were transferred to the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure on 1st April 2010. FMN-158-E was withdrawn from service in January 2012 and acquired by Blackpool Transport Services Limited in February 2012. It was refurbished by Bus&Coach World Ltd at Blackburn, being fitted with a Myllennium Lolyne style front and the seating being altered from H45/27F. It was re-registered E20 BTS in May 2012 and arrived at Blackpool on 26th April 2012, entering service as number 353 on 21st May 2012. It was withdrawn from service in May 2018 and acquired by The Busman Limited (a Knutsford based operator) in 2018 (it departed Rigby Road depot on 3rd November). It was acquired by Catch22Bus Ltd in February 2019 and entered service on 2nd July 2019, Catch22Bus Ltd’s operations being transferred to Coastliner Buses Ltd on 13th April 2020
