Pacific Swift
I almost didn't take my camera with my when I went to town on errands, but I noticed 2 tall ships coming into Victoria's Inner Harbour, so I grabbed my camera as I was heading out the door.
This is a handheld shot of Victoria's Pacific Swift tallship, "a square topsail schooner, built by S.A.L.T.S. as a working exhibit at Expo '86 in Vancouver, British Columbia."

I've caught a few pictures of her this year docked, but this is my first when she's been underway. Sailboats aren't permitted to come into the harbour under sail, so I'll have to content my self with the amazing lines and masts.
Composing the ship, the legislature buildings (a.ka. the parliament buildings), and the former CP Steamship terminal made me think of the olden days, so I went with a split tone effect.
Handheld shot on my Nikon D600 and Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens at 230mm for 1/250 sec, f/14, ISO 400. Slight exposure correction and split tone processing in Lightroom 4.
