Unusual shades of green at Greengates

A more traditional angle of the most unusual pairing of B1 No.61306 'Mayflower' and Merchant Navy No.35018 'British India Line', having accelerated away from Kirkby Stephen where the train had come to a stand for several minutes.

 

Winter conditions like this are so few and far between to coincide with a steam special over the S&C. A moment to be savoured.
