Agitator, re-assembled
Repairing the agitator in my 1994 (!) Whirlpool clothes washer, model number LSC8244BQ0.
Here I've installed the new agitator cogs, and carefully installed the thrust washer and the agitator cam assembly (including the new cogs) between the upper and lower parts of the agitator. Two small "wings" on the agitator cam engage the mating surface on top of the lower half of the agitator, holding the entire assembly together.
Handle the complete agitator assembly carefully, since you don't want it to come apart. Handling this assembly gently, you should have no trouble re-installing in inside your washer.
-----
WARNING: Always disconnect the power to the washer by removing its electrical plug from the wall socket BEFORE starting to work. Do not reconnect the power unit the repair and all re-assembly is complete.

NOTE: These photos are only intended to show how I performed a repair on my own appliance. I cannot answer questions about your appliance repairs. My photos and the description of the work I performed are for information and/or entertainment only.
