On 23 February 2015, Mr. Edgard Arturo Pérez Alván, Minister-Counsellor of the Permanent Mission of Peru, Ms. Laura Kennedy, Chargé d'Affaires of the Permanent Mission of the United States and Mr. Yukiya Amano, Director General of the IAEA signed a trilateral Project and Supply Agreement for assistance in securing low enriched uranium for a research reactor in Peru.
