Dinner's ready!!
Last year I started a Kestrel project as they had had 4 successful nests in the nesting box we put up. Although it started off really well, in the end it failed, due to aldultery, domestic violence, and lack of commitment of the Kestrel couple. Read all about it here.
So I tried to pick up the project this year, but allas, again the couple decided to stay 'dinkies' for another year.
So here is one more of last year's session. Was really happy with daddy Kestrel flying straight towards me and with prey as an added bonus!
