Cygnet of the walk..
Who can resist the playful innocence of a young animal. Well, I certainly can't! When we visited The Biesbosch they were everywhere; young coots, grebes and lots of cygnets!
I had been watching a swan couple with their offspring for some time and one of the little cygnets seemed especially full of himself. Constantly more daring, demanding and impatient than his siblings, he certainly was the 'Cygnet of the walk"! Guess it's not hard to see which one I mean :-). Here he was, a bit prematurely maybe, trying out his tiny little wings.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
