ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: My main reason for selecting this image was that it simply appealed to me in a very magnetic way. It could be the colors, it could be the lines, but it is definitely a favorite, a perfect composition. I like this work of art.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: This might be considered a thistle or a thorn, but having wondered through many a meadow as a youth, I always found them fascinating and they shall always remind me of summers of fun many years ago.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: It would have been sad not to include this wonderful work of art in this gallery. I find everything I like in a painting in this composition.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: Composition is perfect; the colors are natural, graduated and a pleasure to view. The scene suggests serenity at the end of a busy day.

ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says: THIS IS A MASTERPIECE. Since leaving Japan in 1963 after nearly three years, I have longed to return someday to see Mt. Fuji. If I cannot make it, this photograph is almost like seeing this sacred sight in person. I still remember the first time I saw Mt Fuji. It was one of those moments in our lifetimes we clearly recall, a moment that will be as close to us as yesterday. You have captured this scene in a manner that makes it appear as it might have been seen a century ago. Your lighting, framing and attention to details has made this scene one of the best I have seen during the past 50 years. Thanks for sharing this memory. Robert
