This is an excellent capture. If you will notice, much of the stimulus money is being spent building these type of concrete* curbs and curbing, thus are, in a minor manner, fundamentally transforming the nations roadways and especially the aged parking lots of distressed shopping areas. In that it provides jobs, it is a great idea. As far as practicality is concerned, the construction of hospitals where GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE could be dispensed would be more prudent.
I am not advocating GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE, however my fear is that there might be a shortage of hospitals as time goes by, thus new federally funded (through stimulus money) would be a preparation for the hard times that some expect to arrive.
As an American taxpayer, and a citizen, some of my money is being held by the government in a STIMULUS FUND. I would like to be able to monitor where the money really is located, but moreover, I would enjoy the priviledge of suggesting where this money could best be spent and view a record of how and where it is being spent at any given time.

It is a crying shame that no memorial has been erected. Let me guess, the cross is gone, right? And now, it appears, there will be a mosque built within shouting distance of this site. Yes, it is too bad that Mayor Rudy did not continue. I believe the memorial would have been built had New York had the type of leadership needed to erect a memorial.
Do you believe that the WTC will ever be rebuilt?
ROBERT HUFFSTUTTER says:
Yes, these two streams of life are a temporary memorial, but it has been 9 years and what kind of solid memorial is there on this site?
What is being planned to commemorate the victims? When I look at the flak in the light, I am reminded of those who jumped. Nine years have passed and there is no substantial memorial. I just don't understand what happened to the plans. I do not understand why the towers were not rebuilt. Now, the site is one of heated controversy. Who, who in their wildest imagination would have imagined the scene that is happening now, the news about the projected building site?
Who would have believed there would be no monument nine years following this very sad tragedy and attack on our nation?

ONE EXCELLENT IMAGE...that evokes some very sensual moments of a lifetime of tactile awareness. It is truly one of the best abstracts I have seen in years, one that speaks volumes about the sensuality of the human nature, imagined or real. Congratulations, you are quite the expressionist.
