fuzzy caterpillar

There were bunches of these guys roaming around the park. We kept stopping the car to rescue them from the road and put them safely in the grass.

 

About 2 inches long, found in Northern New Jersey, Sussex County. Anyone know what this is?

 

We have ID: the Banded Wooly Bear, [Isabella tiger moth], Arctiidae, Pyrrharctia isabella
