Assembled in Port Melbourne, Australia by AMI (Australian Motor Industries) from kits supplied by AMC in the U.S, these Matador's used a percentage of locally sourced parts and were right hand drive. They also retained the Rambler name (which by this time had ceased to be used in the US).
