Today I went to a festival in Toyama City where many many (predominantly young) men wearing nothing but fundoshi (japanese loincloths) carried a big portable shrine all around the town. And I mean nothing but loincloths. We're talking a lot ot man-ass on display here.
So of course I was eager to record the event for...err... posterity, and made sure that my camera was in my bag before I left the house this morning.
However I then took it out again when I saw these pretty pretty clouds in the sky behind my apartment block.
I took the photo you're looking at now. I got in my car, and drove to a friend's place and then to the festival.
Unfortunately I didnt actually manage to put the camera back in my bag, and left it sitting in my car all day, far from the festival.
So instead of many many photos of Traditional Japanese man-ass, you have one picture of some clouds.
Depending on your take on things, this may or may not be a good thing. I fall into the latter group.
Oh well, maybe next year.
