HeatherK_S13_P1_3 says: Primary Colors This photo shows primary colors because the three glasses of water are colored red, yellow, and blue, the three primary colors. The use of only the three primary colors and little other colors to distract from this makes the piece and example of primary colors. This photo was taken in back lighting, since the white in the background seems to be the lights but blurred. The highlight on the meniscus of the first glass is also towards the back. The point of view is birds eye view and the texture is smooth, as there is no sudden change in highlights or shadows to give a rough appearance. This could be seen as repetition, as the shape of the glass is repeated, while the colors is not.

HeatherK_S13_P1_3 says: Secondary Colors This photo shows secondary colors because the three eggs are all the secondary colors. Orange, green, and purple are the colors of the main and only subjects of the photo, making this secondary colors photo. This photo was taken in left lighting, since the shadows are shown to be on the left, and presumably unnatural lighting, since it was taken on a table. The positioning is center and the point of view is slightly bird's eye, since we looking slightly down at the eggs. There is repetition in this photo as the same shape is repeated, but not necessarily the color.

HeatherK_S13_P1_3 says: Monochromatic Color This photo demonstrates monochromatic color because the entire subject of the flower is yellow, but from the outside to the center, it shows many different values and shades of yellow. The use of only yellow and its different shades makes this monochromatic. This photo was taken in left lighting, as you can see from the left side of the flower being more bright than the right. The texture is combination, as the parts of the petals without water are without blemish, but the droplets create a rough bump that distorts the highlighting, like on the inner most part of the flower. The point of view is bird's eye, as we're looking down on it.
