Super duper rough hardware sketch of the feather flower
My idea for transferring movement up to the part that would open and close the petals (think, umbrella) didn't really work, so it's out for now.
It still has no smarts, now I'm adding some distance sensors in some configuration to make it react a little bit, it's not the main goal, but it should have personality.
My friend Amanda who is a jeweller is helping me build the stem structure out of metal.
Less wonkyness to come.
