Lesser Celandines

growing in sandy soil by Four Mile Creek, Charlotte, North Carolina.

In November 2014, we moved to North Carolina from Tucson, Arizona which is in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. The amazingly abundant and diverse flora here are totally different than those in the Desert - there are more trees and plants here that I DON'T recognize than ones that I do. I had no idea what the name of this lovely plant was but found it easily by searching this website: www.dpughphoto.com/plants_color.htm
