The problem with this photo is to bring up the exposure or the brightness blows out the eye. I decided it was too dark and lightened just the background. I think that's better. I could have lighted everything but the eye, but I like the fur dark and panther-ish.

 

Oops, I think the method I used to correct the image lightened the eye some too. Sigh. Oh well. It didn't blow it out which is what I was trying to avoid.
