Pueblo Grain Elevator Cribbing Detail
I was out and about this morning before going into work for a bit. Among my peregrinations was a trip to the grain elevator by Sweeney Feeds here in Pueblo. This detail shot showing the cribbed construction was probably my favorite of the morning. Interestingly, this elevator also utilizes standard "balloon" framing over the actual elevator. The cribbing is only used for the bins.
Meanwhile, this shot was made with my oldest, most pedestrian optic -- a pre-AI Micro-Nikkor 55mm f3.5. While it may not be very exotic (5 elements in 4 groups) and kind of slow, this lens paints a lovely picture with more detail than anything else in my bag. I really don't use this as often as I should.
