Fly Fishing the Androscoggin River
I finally made it home. That just means I’m trying to catch up on pictures. My buddy likes to fly fish so we went on a trip one morning while the wives slept in. I had told him I’d take pictures of the trip. I took so many they wouldn’t fit on the laptop’s hard drive. I had to leave them on the memory card until I got home.
Anyway, I know this picture won’t excite the fly fishing folks but it’s my favorite picture of the day. I like the body language and the way everything points you toward the scene downriver. It had just rained, the sky behind us was clearing up and it provided some nice light for late morning. It’s on the Androscoggin River somewhere in New Hampshire.
Bearing in mind that I know absolutely nothing about fly fishing, I thought our guide was great. You can reach him at this link
