Moonrise in a lively sky

Interior Alaska. The moon looked awesome, but I only had my 14mm lens along, so there was no way of doing it justice. But I think the size of it relative to auroras really gives some perspective of just how huge the display was.

 

(And do you notice the snow and ice? Winter is finally properly here! Only three weeks late...)
