Angelina Morales, 9, help Dave and Cherie with a magic trick during the Survivor Outreach Services event, Feb. 3.

Dave and Cherie, the ambassadors of laughter from the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus, visited the children of fallen Soldiers during a Survivor Outreach Services event, Feb. 3. The two clowns did filled the small gym at the Nijmegen Neighborhood Center with laughter with their silly antics and magic tricks. The children also got to fill up on pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy. Not to mention making their very own clown mask. Dave and Cherie added to clown fun when they handed out clown noses, color pages, and stickers to everyone.

"It was really cool because they did magic tricks," explained Joshua Johnson, 10. "That was my favorite part."

Chalotte Watson, program manager for SOS, said that she graciously accepted when the clowns from Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus were offered for the event.

"This a chance to get the Families together and let the kids have fun and for a moment, take the burndem away," explained Watson. "The kids all know each other and they get to bond even more together at these events. It's very rewarding to see them laughing and having so much fun."
