Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan — XVIII Airborne Corps’ troops and staff members assigned to the United States Forces-Afghanistan command (USFOR-A), took a moment to pose for a group photo in commemoration of the 4th of July, at Bagram Airfield Base, Afghanistan. “As we celebrate the Independence of the United States at a military base in Afghanistan, the true meaning of this date becomes even more apparent ... On this day, I am also reminded of how fortunate we are in America, for we truly are a free nation that enjoys freedom that many countries do not afford its citizens,” said Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Colt.
