The Womack Nursing Cadets under the leadership of Major Mitzi Fields, deputy chief of education and staff development, gain empathy for their paratrooper patients by experiencing the 34 foot Jump Tower a training requirement for all airborne solders. Major Fields said that the training would allow the Nursing Cadets to better understand the environment and possible injuries that can occur during a live jump.
