Irie's new life
Irie (Eye-ree), a black star rescue hen, was a weak and frazzled chook when we met her, but now she's a big, strong girl who runs high up in the flock.
We found her first tiny brown egg among the Ameraucanas' green eggs late in December and there have been more and larger eggs since.
They'll go in the incubator in about six weeks, and life goes on.
