Heart-Healthy Smoothie
One of the things I’m frequently asked is, “How do you stay so darn awesome and healthy?”
Well, the answer is simple: Heart healthy smoothies and lots of them!
Any frozen fruit smoothie is delicious unless they contain “milk” that does not come from a cow or if some disturbed person used vegetables. Especially kale which is what they drink in Hell.
I noticed that the first of the “personal” watermelons were in the store yesterday. I bought one, and took it home with me so I could make creamy frozen watermelon smoothies.
I began by cutting the watermelon like I learned as a kid. I cut off the top and the bottom so it would stand vertical. Then, I cut off the rind using a very sharp kitchen knife. I was left with a large mass of melon without any rind. It was easy to slice it vertically, then slice into spears, and then into cubes.
I put the watermelon cubes in a freezer container and froze them overnight. Today, I pulled out my large Ninja smoothie container, filled it with frozen watermelon cubes, a quarter cup of full-fat yoghurt, and about 3 shots of bourbon. After putting the cup on the Ninja and pressing “smoothie”, I had a beautiful heart-healthy creamy watermelon smoothie. So good, so healthy!
Note: you can substitute the bourbon with tequila, vodka, or lite rum.
Stay healthy and take care of yourself! Drink plenty of smoothies every day.
