Jersey Shore Candy
By divine law, there must be a candy store on the Jersey Shore located no further than five miles from the next one. It’s in the Bible. Read it!
Most of the Jersey Shore candy stores (shops) make their candies on premise. The Caramel Shop in Ocean Township, NJ is my favorite and I’m not really into candy. They had waffle cone chocolate bark for the first time on my last visit.
While I would have preferred it to have been dark chocolate, I ordered a pound anyway. All of that crushed waffle cone enshrined in delicious fresh chocolate made it easier to cry when I thought about how many calories it contained.
Remember: “If they ever send you to prison, don’t be a candy ass.”
