words & pictures 6/12/B

My first attempt to meet the requirements of this quarter's technical challenge in 12 Months for Dogs. The first part of the challenge, set by our leader, Gentle Liz, is to do something I haven't done before - well I think I've done most things with Taivas so I haven't done anything new, also being restricted by the requirements of part two needing a long exposure. The second part of my challenge was set by Ann (ND Wind Twins) and is to take a picture of Taivas, in darkness and light painting her face. The third part, also set by Liz is to take that picture and process it in different ways. If I get time and inspiration I will try to come up with another version where I do meet the part one challenge requirements.

For the photo the room was in total darkness, having manually focused prior to switching the lights out. I had the camera on the floor and used the self timer and a small torch to light paint Taivas, keeping the light moving for the 5 second exposure.

Pic with bluish light top right is the original amd the others all done with various black and white processing and textures.

Template, textures and text brushes are all by Kim Klassen.
