Green Change at the Fairfax Festival 2025 - Video Memory
Enjoy this video memory of our Green Change exhibit at the Fairfax Festival on June 7, 2025. We first presented our Earth Bike in the Fairfax parade – then hosted fun activities in the Ecofest, where we welcomed hundreds of visitors of all ages.
Our unique mix of playful activities and practical tips invited more people to go green and build a better world. Participants had fun playing Anytown USA, creating a sustainable town to solve climate change in a race against time.
At our Green Tips table, we had many productive conversations about climate action, helping folks learn more about sustainable living, clean energy, green homes and reducing our carbon emissions.
And dozens of participants were inspired to make a Green Pledge to help cool the earth -- and we took their photo in front of our big earth globe. They pledged to consume less, get an ebike, save water, use less plastic, support climate justice and live lightly, among others.
Kudos to our Green Change team for hosting our activities: Fabrice Florin, Tom Flynn and Bridget Mazzini, with logistical support by Phyllis Florin and Richard Mazzini. Photos and videos of this event were shot by Fabrice, Bridget, George Osner, Dean Boen, Brian Hunwick, Marcy Santana, and Kristy Thomson – and edited by Fabrice..
Our traveling exhibit is sponsored by the County of Marin, MCE, and the Marin Community Foundation. We’re also grateful to the Fairfax Festival & Ecofest organizers, including Larry and Holly Bragman and Merrell Maschino, for hosting us again this year. Also featured in this album are our climate action partners: Sustainable Marin, 350 Marin, Resilient Neighborhoods, Fairfax Climate Action Committee, and the San Anselmo Climate Action Commission.
Many thanks to all our volunteers, partners, sponsors and friends for making this exhibit possible, so we could inspire more people to take climate action!
