Splash Damage

This is the only photo in my photostream taken with a compact camera.

 

I sat at this pier counting the waves waiting for the perfect shot. Each wave seemed to have a bigger splash, so I waited longer and longer.

 

The next wave came, splashed up and hit me. It destroyed the camera, and being a poor student, I was left camera-less for a year until I saved up for a dSLR.

 

This shot was my Casio camera's last photo, its Swan Song.
