the alarm went off at 6am to “My Sweet Lord” by George Harrison. i slowly opened my eyes expecting my usual Boheme kisses. i love those. i turned towards her, My Sweet Lord still softly humming in the background, and immediately something shifted. everything about this moment was suddenly infinitely important. the morning sun shining through the window added a magical mood to the sacred stillness. today i will try harder to see what’s important. today i will try harder to have more patients. tonight when i fall sleep, i will close my eyes having no regrets.
