Snow-white Linden Moth-1415

(Ennomos subsignaria)

We have two crabapple trees in our backyard and the larvae of these moths feed on them. Their larvae also feed on elm, birch, maple, and oak. A lot hatched in July on our trees and were around for only a few day and then they were gone. This one is resting on a crabapple leaf.
