Blinded Sphinx Moth
I found this gal hanging on the fire bush this morning. She has hung there all day and doesn't seem interested in flying away. She let me pick her up. She is the Blinded Sphinx Moth, Paonias excaecatus. Thanks to Texas Eagle for the ID. bugguide.net/node/view/4481
