Still Growing

This Purple-gilled Laccaria (Laccaria ochopurpurea) is already a couple inches tall. The cap will increase in size soon enough. True to its name the gills (they are under the cap and can not be seen in this photo) are a distinctive purple color. Triadelphia Reservoir, Maryland
