Slightly adjusted parameters, experimented with ellipse() and arc() instead of rect().

Also added rotate() and noise() - hence the overlays here in this output.

Initially exported to PDF. Removed black background with Illustrator and uncovered the entire circle.

 

Color palette was taken from one of these images: www.ersdac.or.jp/ASTERimage/Image/
