Crash Visits McKee
The Iowa Wild's Crash made a visit to McKee Education Center to help them celebrate as students participated in Special Olympics Play Days on Thursday, March 20th. Special Olympics Young Athletes is a program for children with and without intellectual disabilities (ID), ages 2 to 7 years old.
During Play Days Young Athletes are introduced to basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing. The program offers families, teachers, caregivers and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children. Children of all abilities take part, and they all benefit.
