X-wing lights
Just to recap my and Inthert's discoveries, before I start another modification of my LEGO X-wing model ;)
Three slightly cropped frames from "Return of the Jedi". In the first one, the X-wing is seen from behind - take a look at the yellow circles I added; there are four red or orange lights.
Frame two - same scene but X-wing seen from the front. In green circles, right on the wingtips, you can see green and red navigation lights. In red circle - white landing lights (I already have these in my model).
But in the third picture, which is the same scene captured on a Topps trading card, you can see (in the red circle) that these lights are actually red. I gave it some thought and decided not to mess with those - they will be just white in my model.
Honestly, I'm still not quite convinced whether I should tinker with my X-wing again - it would require purchasing some extra-small LEDs and extra-thin wires. But the longer I think about it, the more I like the idea :) .
What do you think, guys?
