MUTE by Maghda @ Nitroglobus main hall

MUTE by Maghda, the July-August exhibition @ Nitroglobus main hall.

She’s back—and I couldn’t be happier to welcome Maghda once again to Nitroglobus with her powerful new exhibition, MUTE. This striking series is deeply personal, revealing raw emotions and inner reflections captured through her evocative imagery.

After a period of intense upheaval—an emotional rollercoaster—Maghda returns to the SL art scene with renewed focus and vision. MUTE marks a significant first step in her reintegration, and it is a testament to both her resilience and creative voice.

I’ve always admired Maghda’s distinctive photographic style. Her work is instantly recognizable—deeply emotional, expressive, and always capable of touching the heart. This exhibition is a compelling continuation of her earlier shows at Nitroglobus and other SL galleries.

Beyond being an incredible artist, Maghda is also a close friend with whom I’ve shared many moments over the years. That makes this exhibition all the more meaningful for me.

Enjoy MUTE. I’m sure it will move you as much as it moved me.

Description by the artist:

MUTE

Sometimes the ground gives way beneath you,

and the air stands still, refusing to carry sound.

No words rise—

only the heaviness of all that remains unspeakable.

A look. A breath. A storm held at the edge.

Mute isn’t silence—it’s the overflow of what words can’t contain.

Your voice, once steady, curls inward, tucked behind your ribs.
