Despite being in possession of both GPS and a map, Mr Thair and I managed to walk in entirely the wrong way along the river for over an hour (didn't notice it was on our right, not left).
But it didn't matter, because the sun was shining and we found some cool stuff, like this overgrown area behind a garden centre.
(Gmaps suggests we might have even strayed into Wales briefly on our travels.)
