The Little Princess Story time - St Thomas Library
This is the Little Princess from the books by Tony Ross. I had an old puppet left over from my teaching days and after a complete make over, hair, eyes, cheeks and clothes I think she looks the part. On Monday 24th June, St Thomas Library held a special story time to celebrate National Book Start Bear week. The Little Princess puppet read some of her own books and some fairytales to a large audience of little princesses and princes who dressed up in costume. The children were all given crowns to wear and sang songs - "When Goldilocks went to the house of the bears" helped along with laminated characters from the story. It was a resounding success and we have been asked to put on similar events by the child minders who attended.
