Tattered, faded "glory"

A faded, tattered American flag flies from a pole outside a business in Norton, Ohio.

 

A couple of weeks after this was taken, the flag was gone, hopefully retired in a manner respectful of its status.

 

This was taken with a Nikon D200, using an 80-200 mm lens. The image was manipulated using PhotoSketcher program for Mac
