Geomembrane (Bamboo/Water Barrier) with Tape

Geomembranes are flexible, smooth barriers that block the roots of invasive species such as bamboo, and control the subterranean movement of water. Geomembranes, also known as Bamboo or Water Barriers, are commonly used around foundations, golf greens, and bamboo planters. Individual pieces of the Geomembrane can be connected using double-sided polyfoam sealant tape, shown here in front of the roll.

Made of HDPE, the Geomembrane is available in a variety of widths and thicknesses, is rigid enough to stand without support in a trench while being flexible enough to wrap around corners, pipes, and other site features. The material cuts with a utility knife but is strong enough to resist root penetration.

Shown here is the 100 foot (30.48 meters) length Geomembrane roll. Rolls are also available in 300 foot (91.44 meters), with the exception of the 80 mil thick roll, which is available in a 200 foot (60.96 meter) length roll.
