Geek DIY

The problem: Our rented apartment needs curtains, but after buying our lovely curtain rail we discovered that the carefully white-painted window frame is solid, un-drillable steel.

The solution: A simple purchase of some of the most powerful permanent magnets on the planet (neodymium) from eBay, along with some of the most powerful glue on the planet (metal/concrete epoxy resin). $30 total.
