Door on Office at Richmond Lock, Richmond-upon-Thames, Surrey.
The lock, weir and pedestrian footbridge at the River Thames were built in 1894 by the Thames Conservancy to ensure that a navigable depth of water is maintained between Richmond and the lock at Teddington. It is now owned and maintained by the Port of London Authority and is a Grade II listed building. Part of the structure is a footbridge that links the east bank of the Thames by Old Deer Park at Richmond to St. Margarets.
