The linework for this was used in a commission for my friend Michael Catano, who's a framebuilder in Chicago under the name Humble Frameworks. I really like how these leaves came out, so i colored them in photoshop.
...also, I'm aware that this is more of a fractal than a tesselation. i'm only so good with math.
