PEE WEE'S PLAYHOUSE Fun Pak -- Bazooka Joe meets Pee-Wee Herman...!
The back of a Pee Wee's Playhouse "Fun Pak" card. This one in particular is a take on the Bazooka Joe comics that came with the penny gum, way back when.
I start laughing just thinking of this card. It's stuffed full of references that likely only adults will get but I also just love the mix of Pee Wee with Bazooka Joe and the graphic work of the offset printing that doesn't match and more including the surprised Pee Wee just is brilliant in my opinion.
The small print on the lower right says:
"#4747 FREE! Bazooka Joe Comic -- Classic American Folk Humor, beloved for over two (2) generations. Guaranteed to enhance your lifestyle. Printed on sturdy wax paper. Colorful. Handy. Artistic. Send 150 plastic binoculars or 250 plastic diamond rings to: Bazooka Joe's Retirement Fund, Box 42, Bazookaland, Fla."
