Covanta facilities across the U.S. turned Earth Day (April 22, 2013) into a month-long celebration with many sites working hard to spread the word about the benefits of Energy-from-Waste (EfW) while demonstrating Covanta’s commitment to our Clean World Initiative. Covanta Babylon an Energy-from-Waste facility in West Babylon, NY and the Town of Babylon celebrated Earth Day and presented the Covantage Ecotech scholarships to local graduating high school students.
