Gullfoss waterfall - Iceland

Gullfoss waterfall is in the southern part of Iceland, north-east of Reykjavik the position on map is very approximate

Strong howling wind diffusing small water drops everywhere

 

After an endless fight against the very fine water-spray who kept hitting the lens frontal glass (no way to keep the lens dry for more then few seconds only) I was lucky to have a short moment of lesser strong wind

Water isn't so blue really. Since the very cloudy sky, the photo got a strong blueish dominance which I tried to compensate for in Photoshop

 

the result was a water color indeed closer to the "original" but rather dull.

 

So I finally decided to just tweak brightness and contrast and leave the blue dominance as is....I believe the photo is more interesting now.
