NORTH SULAWESI, Indonesia (June 12, 2012) Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) sails through the remote islands to the Northeast of North Sulawesi, Indonesia, on June 12.The Mercy had just left Sangihe i, one of several islands in North Sulawesi that Pacific Partnership 2012 visited. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian aid civic assistance mission now in its seventh year that brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-government organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
