Shanghai - "Light of the Orient"

Revisited. "Light of the Orient" or in Chinese "东方之光" is the name of this giant steel sculpture at the eastern end of Century Avenue, forming the entrance to Century Square.

The sculpture is actually a giant sundial, made from stainless steel. The large elliptical frame measures 400 square meters and the total length of the stainless steel tubes used exceeds 6,000 meters. View large on a black background.
